Terms of Use

Last updated 2 September 2026. Read together with our pricing terms and conditions.

1. Who we are and who these terms apply to

Order Online Flow is a software service operated by SL Flow in India. These Terms of Use apply to restaurants and other food businesses that subscribe to the platform, to the staff accounts they create, and to guests who scan a QR code and place an order through a restaurant's menu page.

By creating an account, logging in, or placing an order through the platform you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. Accounts and access

Restaurant accounts are created by our team; there is no public self sign-up. The account owner is responsible for every user they add, for keeping login credentials confidential, and for all activity carried out under their accounts.

Owner email addresses can only be changed by the platform team, to protect against account takeover. You must tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend an account for non-payment after written reminders, for suspected fraud or misuse, or where required by law.

3. Restaurant responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your menu content, item descriptions, prices, taxes shown, allergen and dietary information, food safety, hygiene, licences under the FSSAI framework, and for fulfilling orders received through the platform.

Dietary tags such as veg, non-veg and spice level are entered by you. We display what you enter and do not verify it.

You must comply with the Legal Metrology and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) requirements applicable to you, including displaying accurate prices and honouring the price shown to a guest at the time of ordering.

4. Payments between guests and restaurants

Order Online Flow is not a payment gateway, payment aggregator or party to any transaction between a guest and a restaurant. UPI payments settle directly into the restaurant's own UPI ID.

Where a guest pays by UPI, the order is released to the kitchen only after the restaurant confirms the payment reference (UTR). Restaurants must verify receipt in their own bank or UPI app before confirming.

Refunds, chargebacks, failed transfers and disputes about food or service are handled directly between the guest and the restaurant. We may provide order records to assist.

5. Subscription fees

Subscription pricing, free periods, setup fees, taxes and price revision rules are set out on our pricing page and form part of these terms.

All fees are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes. Fees may be revised in future; any increase to a rate you already pay is notified by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.

6. Fair use

Every plan carries fair-use limits, including the number of orders processed each month, menu items, tables, and AI and voice requests. These limits protect service quality for all customers.

If your usage consistently exceeds the allowance we will contact you about additional charges or moving to a higher plan before any change is applied.

7. KMN AI and voice ordering

KMN AI produces suggestions, estimates and voice-to-cart interpretations using automated models. Output can be incomplete or wrong. It is guidance only and does not replace your own judgement on staffing, pricing, preparation or order accuracy.

Estimated ready times shown to guests are calculated from past order patterns and current queue length. They are estimates, not guarantees.

Voice ordering must be switched on by the restaurant and is billed on usage. Guests must confirm the cart on screen before the order is placed.

8. Data and privacy

We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Restaurants are responsible for the guest data they collect through the platform; we act as their processor for order and menu data.

Guest contact details are not exposed to restaurants in customer profiles: repeat-visit and review data is shown in anonymised form.

We retain order and menu data for 30 days after cancellation and then delete it, unless a longer period is required by law.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use the platform to sell items you are not licensed to sell, to upload unlawful, infringing or misleading content, to attempt to access another restaurant's data, to probe or bypass security controls, or to place fake or automated orders.

We may remove content and suspend access where these rules are breached.

10. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages, internet, device or printer failures may interrupt ordering.

Support is provided through the in-app support tickets and our contact page during business hours.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, food wastage, or losses arising from incorrect menu data, unverified payments, or reliance on AI suggestions or estimated times.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Changes, termination and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are notified by email or in the dashboard, and continued use after the effective date means you accept them.

You may cancel with 30 days notice, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may terminate for material breach or persistent non-payment.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Punjab, India, unless a mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
