Hardware guide

None of this is mandatory. Order Online Flow runs in a browser, so most restaurants start with a device they already own. The list below is only about making the flow smoother as you grow. Hardware is bought by you and is not part of the monthly plan.

Counter tablet

Recommended

One tablet at the counter is enough for a small shop. It shows live orders, lets you take walk-in orders and mark payments. Any existing tablet, laptop or spare phone works.

Kitchen screen

Optional

A second tablet or screen in the kitchen keeps cooking separate from the counter. In a small kitchen the counter tablet is usually enough.

Staff phones for table service

Optional

With table service, servers can simply use their own phones — no extra devices needed. Larger floors often add one or two shared tablets instead.

Order alert or printer

Optional

A small speaker or chime makes sure a new order is never missed. If you prefer paper tickets, a thermal receipt printer can be added.

Printed QR codes

Low cost

Your QR codes are generated in the app and print on any printer. Table codes are usually laminated or put in a stand; cost varies by finish.

Internet

Existing

Any regular broadband or mobile connection is enough. Most restaurants already have what they need.
